General Information

Pool your resources! Any site that has any information about Wheel of Time can be posted here. Please include a brief description along with the link.

Game and Board Rules

This forum contains all the adopted house rules. Some of the rulings are board wide, while others are game specific. Most of these discussions were approved through the Creative Development Process in effect at their adoption.

A group where board members may submit their personal ideas for new Shadowspawn, new critters, new Angreal and other weapons and armor ideas for sharing.

Character Forums

This is where you will begin the creation of your character before being admitted into a game. Get help and ideas here from players and GMs.

Find active Character Sheets here. Only characters with games are stored here.

A forum for GMs and Players to post important NPC sheets. Generally used by GMs.

Sometimes folks like to keep up with their favorite characters. Make it easy, just post links to your character movements from topic to topic here. A brief history and discription can also help.

Going to be absent? Post here. Make sure to post in the same post when you come back. Closed topics mean that the person has already returned.

This is a general discussion forum, open to all participants

This forum is designed for the creation and management of polls related to roll playing games, wheel of time related information and general discussion.

Have an idea for the game? Post ideas here first, get community in put. Once they are developed, you can move on to Applications.

Final Applications for new ideas. Develope the ideas first in the Suggestion/Complaint or Creative Development forum first. Once the ideas have been looked over you can move on to Creative Development Voting.

Post ideas for general board improvement here. Once the idea has been refined, move on to Applications.

Once an idea has gone through Creative Development or Suggestion/Complaints and then through the Application forums it comes here. Items here are up for official vote by any member on the board.

Altara

A place of very stringent marriage customs. There is no ruling party here, although many claim that Queen Tylin, who resides on the Throne of the Winds in the Tarasin Palace, rules this powerful nation.

Amadicia

Lying to the south of the Mountains of Mist, Amador is ruled by King Ailron. The real political power, however, lies behind the Children of the Light.

Andor

The capital of Andor.

A large city located just east of Baerlon, and west of Caemlyn and Four Kings. The city is named after the fabled White Bridge that is the only man-made crossing across the River Arinelle. It is a vastly thriving community of traders and merchents.

A filthy, dishevled village with a number of small inns and taverns. Usually a stopover for merchents' wagon trains on their way to Caemlyn. A dismal air hangs about the city, for something is terribly wrong here derived from crime, murder, and poverty.

A small mining town on the outskirts of Andor. A hearty little city that thrives on its exported ore. It holds a vast number of inns, and is surrounded by a high, log wall in case of bandit attacks.

Although the people have forgotten it, they are subjects of Andor. The people inhabiting this area are some of the stoutest in the Westlands.

An ever misty mountain range that lies on the far western border of Andor. Once a prominent mining site, it is now abandoned and rumored to be haunted. Among its highest peaks are rumors of treasure, and beasts the likes of which have never seen the light of day.

On the west bank of the Erinin River, this town is surrounded by a wall and has several tarred-timber docks for river traffic. The main streets are paved with flat stones.

Arad Doman

Arad Doman is most commonly seen feuding with the nation of Tarabon to the south. It sports irrisistable women with coppery skin, and flirtatious smiles.

The Borderlands

Home of the vigilant Borderland warriors, who fight daily to keep the Blight and its creatures at bay.

Just west of Shienar, Arafel is a ruggid country. The men are easily recognizable, due to their long hair, which is usually worn in two braids, and the ability to wield two swords.

A home of many merchants and the distinctive Kandori 'forked beard'.

The largest nation of the Borderlands. Saldaea is known for its remarkable horses and calvalry.

The last bastion of civilization is Shienar. Here the people can expect daily raids and vigilante attempts of being overrun by Shadowspawn. Shienarans wear their hair in topknots.

The visible manifestation of the Dark One. The Borderlands are at a constant conflict with this.

The home of the Darklord. Few will be brave enough to venture here, and most of those only because of commands from the Great Lord.

Cairhien

A place of ultimate political intrigue and innuendo. This land makes any scheming noble feel comfortable. Home of Daes Daemar.

Ghealdan

A nation of monarchy. Rumor has it that a False Dragon has sprung up and is soon to be put down by Aes Sedai.

Illian

A powerful nation on the Sea of Storms bordering the weaker nations of Altara and Murandy. It is wealthy from it's sea-, land-, and river-borne trade.

Murandy

A land where the king has little control over the various lords and ladies born to nobility. Indistinguishable from Andorans save for their style of dress, Murandy is a land of political intrigue.

Tarabon

Taraboners call themselves the Tree of Man, and claim to be descendants of the rulers and nobles from the Age of Legends. It is considered impolite to reveal ones face when not eating or drinking, thus men and women wear veils over their faces. An Illuminators guild is located here.

Tear

A stronghold of autocracy. The nobles here maintain absolute control to do whatever they want to any peasant. Home of gambling, and the Stone of Tear.

The choppy waters south of Tear support many a nation's economy throughout the Realm. From trade with the Sea Folk, to sailing the stormy waters in search of uncharted lands, the sea is a turbulent and mysterious place.

Independant City States

A town in full support of the Aes Sedai. You can expect to find any sort of commerce or adventure here.

Whether as a male wilder held prisoner by Aes Sedai, or a hopeful initiate, many dealings with the One Power occur here. This is the headquarters of Aes Sedai and there Warders.

Wild Regions

A dry plain that Arad Doman and Tarabon have been fighting over for the last four hundred years. There is currently no formal government, and there are no large towns or cities here.

A large range of dark-earthen hills where one could go for days in the without seeing another soul.
